We are a charitable trust that operates two not-for-profit farms with the purpose of providing training and support to vulnerable young people. We grow avocados and macadamias on our farms in Bundaberg. We also help host and assist in charitable training programs run for young people who are associated with Youth Justice and local schools. Our farming operations fund our counselling service, Peirson Services, in Bundaberg.

Avocados & Macadamias

Peirson Farms holds 900 hectares, with 450 of these prepped for cropping. The farm grows 100 hectares of avocadoes, 40 hectares of macadamia and 50 hectares of mulch hay, which is then used back on farm to achieve sustainable farming practices. Canola is also grown as a part of the farm’s charitable training programs, for youth to experience the horticulture industry.
